Lexus LX 2013 - "chips" of a five-meter luxury SUV, available in both five- and eight-seater versions, are the Adaptive Variable Suspention and Crowl Control systems.
The first, thanks to hydropneumatic struts, is able to automatically adjust the rolls and ground clearance of the Lexus LX. At the same time, the clearance of the SUV can also be adjusted manually - from a minimum of 174 mm to a maximum of 290 mm, the car rises in less than a minute. The suspension has several driving modes - from comfortable to sporty.
The Crowl Control system is a kind of off-road cruise control. Having chosen the desired speed (1, 3 or 5 km / h), the driver will only need to turn the steering wheel, it is not necessary to keep his feet on the pedals - the electronics will independently control the selected speed.
To facilitate landing and landing on the front seats are called wide footboards and large handles on the A-pillars. Both the front and rear seats are equipped with electric drives, and the front seats are also ventilated.
Trunk volume varies from 439 to 2353 liters. The tailgate consists of two parts: the upper one with glazing is equipped with an electric drive, and the lower edge for convenient loading of bulky items will have to be folded manually.
Already in the “base” of the Lexus LX is leather trim with wooden decor, acoustics with 19 speakers from Mark Levinson and four-zone climate control.
Unlike the platform Toyota Land Cruiser 200 for the Lexus LX, only one power plant is offered - a gasoline 5.7-liter V-shaped “eight” (367 hp and 530 Nm), which, paired with a six-speed automatic, can accelerate an almost three-ton SUV to hundreds in just 7.5 seconds.
