Lexus NX - the new crossover debuted in April 2014 at the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition. In the Lexus model range, it is located one step below the crossover Lexus RX.

Built Lexus NX on the same platform with Toyota RAV4 fourth generation, having the same wheelbase of 2660 mm. However, in addition to a more “dynamic” design, it differs from its “relative” in suspension geometry (MacPherson strut in front and a two-lever rear), chassis elements, including adaptive shock absorbers inaccessible to Toyota, as well as a lighter and more rigid body. Trunk volume - 500 liters for petrol versions and 475 liters for hybrid.

Lexus NX has three modifications:

• NX 200 with 2.0-liter naturally aspirated 3ZR-FAE (150 hp, 189 Nm) and Multidrive CVT. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 7.6 liters per "hundred". Acceleration 0-100 km / h - 12.3 seconds;
• NX 200t (starting with the 2018 model year - NX 300) with a 2.0-liter 8AR-FTS turbo engine (238 hp, 350 Nm) and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle - 8.4 l / 100 km. Acceleration 0-100 km / h - 7.1 seconds;
• NX 300h (hybrid) with a 2.5-liter 2AR-FXE gasoline engine, a pair of electric motors and a CVT. The total output of the units is 200 hp. and 210 Nm. The declared "combined" consumption is 5.2 l / 100 km. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h - 9.2 seconds.

In Ukraine, all presented versions have four-wheel drive, although in some other markets the NX 200 (in Russia) and NX 300 (in the USA) are also front-wheel drive.

The Lexus NX crossover is produced in Japan.
